Before that it was Parkway Center which opened in 1957 - 55 years ago...
We're celebrating and we're inviting the people who make our success possible, our shoppers!

The first step to a successful party is the Birthday Cake...
When Parkway Center opened in 1957 Peggy Ann Bakery was one of the first tenants in the center. We're still around and Peggy Ann's is still serving the city too as one of Huntsville's oldest and finest bakeries... They even use the same recipes that they used when their doors opened in the 1950's... Who better to make our Birthday Cake than our friends at Peggy Ann's. We've given them a challenge though. We've asked them to bake the biggest cake ever a 4 foot by 3 foot sheet cake so that we'll have plenty to share with you! Check out the announcement we found in the paper from 1957!
Join us for a piece of cake on Saturday, October 20th from 12:00-2:00pm with Star 99.1 or from 2:00-4:00pm with 104.3 WZYP!

The 10th Caller after the contest is announced each morning during Steve & DeeDee will have the chance to Celebrate 10 and win! There will be one winner per day Monday, October 15 - Friday, October 19th and each winner will also be registered for a $100 gift card that we will draw for on Saturday, October 20th at our Birthday Party!
Join Star 99.1 at our Birthday Party from 12:00-2:00pm on the lower level at Center Court (near the elevator). Enjoy our Giant Cake and have some fun.
WZYP is celebrating our 10th Birthday Party Live from 2:00-4:00pm on Saturday, October 20th! Listen carefully to WZYP Monday October 15th - Friday October 19th because they will be giving you a chance to go and post your favorite things about Parkway Place on our facebook page. Make sure you tag WZYP in the post because they will be selecting winners randomly and someone is going to win a $500 shopping spree to Parkway Place!
Parkway Place Mall's Top 10 @ 10 is another chance for you to win from Bonny O'Brien at Lite 96.9 and Parkway Place! Listen for Bonny to give the cue to call and the 10th caller who lists 10 of their favorite stores at Parkway Place will win a $50 gift card to the mall! All winners will also qualify to win a $100 gift card that we will give away at our birthday party on Saturday, October 20th! The grand prize winner will be posted on our facebook!
